Lindsey Clarke reports from LOUGH MELVIN – Monday 1st to Sunday 7th February 2016.
Lough Melvin was quiet this week again due to the atrocious conditions for the main part. Strong winds and rain put off most rods and we still await news of the first salmon caught on Lough Melvin. With storm Henry just leaving us and storm Imogen on the way, boats will be shore bound for the next number of days one would imagine!
